As a designer, I not only work with cut-outs but also with all kinds of fonts. That’s why I’m always looking at magazines and books. When I observe something, I often notice in retrospect that I remember exactly what the letters looked like, though I didn’t read a single letter of the text.
This word has been “cut out” of Bodoni, Futura, Cooper and Stamp Gothic (every font has a name). These four, beautiful letters provide a beautiful image, the meaning of the word is less beautiful.
